Adults over the age of 18 who have a primary psychiatric diagnosis and require extended services for 3 to 6 hours a day, for 2 to 5 days a week may be referred to the Partial Hospitalization Program for evaluation. Clients may have concurrent complicating conditions, such as mild-to-moderate mental retardation or substance abuse problems.

The Partial Hospitalization Program accepts funding from Medicaid and Community Behavioral Health.  Applicants must be either Medicaid eligible or a member of Community Behavioral Health (CBH).

Services are offered at Elwyn’s West Philadelphia location at 4040 Market Street and are easily accessed by public transportation. Hours of operations are 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
