Program Overview
Social Rehabilitation Services encourage community involvement and peer interaction to help individuals with a history of behavioral health problems build important social and life skills for more independent living. This program is designed for individuals who require less program support than the Partial Hospitalization Program but still require assistance in community integration. Enriching, therapeutic activities help people learn practical living and interpersonal skills that encourage greater participation in community life. A variety of planned social activities include community outings, celebrations and parties, interest groups, and recreational and entertainment activities. Services- social development through diverse peer activities
- supervised community inclusion
- skill building opportunities in the areas of personal care, independent community living, interpersonal relationships, building friendships and leisure time skills
