Program Overview Vocational Rehabilitation offers a range of employment options to help adults with mental illness work productively and successfully in a program or community-based setting. Based on their individual strengths and career interests, program participants find opportunities to learn various job readiness skills through many pre-vocational activities. The program aims to provide real-life work experiences through on-the-job work exposures, volunteer work, and transitional employment. This experience helps individuals self-discover whichever career path suits them best. In any stage of employment, from identifying areas of interest through actual job placements, Behavioral Health staff and case managers are there to provide support, encouragement and expertise on the road to successful employment.
