Program Overview

A psychiatric rehabilitation clubhouse, Welcome House provides individuals with the supports that are vital to recovery. The clubhouse program in Delaware County offers a structured day and a variety of goal-oriented activities. These activities expose club members to many social, interpersonal and vocational experiences that enable them to acquire practical living skills. For those with long-term, psychiatric disabilities, as well as those with psychiatric disabilities and complicating conditions such as mental retardation, drug and alcohol dependency, sensory deficits, and physical disabilities, Welcome House is a lifeline of support.

Welcome House is centered on one goal—to give people the support, the encouragement, and the hope to build better futures. Structured activities, social opportunities, community involvement, and transitional employment are just several of the options offered to club members to help foster personal growth and build self-esteem.
