Welcome House serves adults age 18 and older who have been diagnosed with persistent and chronic mental illness, as well as those with mental illness and complicating conditions such as drug and alcohol dependencies, physical disabilities, mild to moderate mental retardation, and sensory difficulties. The individuals served benefit from day support services and therapeutic activities to help facilitate recovery from mental illness.

Funding for participants is provided by the Delaware County Office of Behavioral Health, Magellan Behavioral Health, and private health insurers.

Welcome House is located at 7700 West Chester Pike, in Upper Darby. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the exception of special events and limited hours of operations on holidays and weekends.
