Sandra S. Cornelius, Ph.D.
Dr. Cornelius has served as President of Elwyn since 1991. Prior to her appointment as president, she served as CEO for the Delaware County Government, Department of Human Resources (1984-1991) and Chief Administrator Child Welfare (1978-1984). Prior to her positions with Delaware County government, Dr. Cornelius served as an Assistant Professor at Bryn Mawr College (1974-1978) and Technician at the School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania (1965-66).
Dr. Cornelius received her B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania, her M.S.W. and Ph.D. in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College. She is a member of a several prominent associations including Pennsylvania Association of Resources; Pennsylvania Association of Rehabilitation Facilities; and the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Dr. Cornelius served on the Board of Directors of Haverford State Hospital from 1980 to 1991, and the Board of Directors the Ethel Sergeant Clark Memorial Fund from 1980 to 1990.
Her Publications include “Making Peace with the Computer,” and “Hemodynamic Value for Residents at C-Level Altitude: Man in Environment Biology.” She is the co-author of “Child Psychiatry: Equity & Individualization,” and “Training Pediatric Residents in a General Hospital,” and “The Risk Climate & The Delivery of Child Welfare Service.”
Daniel M. Reardon
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Daniel M. Reardon joined the Elwyn management team in October 1993 and was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in October 2012. He previously served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from October 2003 to September 2012. Mr. Reardon is responsible for the corporate oversight and strategic direction of all service areas, organization development and facility management operations for Elwyn and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Elwyn, Mr. Reardon was a Supervising Senior with KPMG in Philadelphia. Mr. Reardon has a B.S. degree in Accounting from Villanova University and an M.B.A. degree from St. Joseph’s University.
H. Scott Campbell
H. Scott Campbell joined the Elwyn management team in July 1992. Mr. Campbell is responsible for the operations of Elwyn California, a recently formed California corporation serving individuals with challenges transitioning from State Developmental Centers to community living arrangements. Mr. Campbell is also charged with the exploration of similar opportunities in other states. Mr. Campbell is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and has a Masters in Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He served 22 years in public and child welfare positions with the Delaware County, Department of Human Services in Pennsylvania.
Richard T. Smith
Vice President for Information Technology
Richard T. Smith is responsible for all information technology activities at Elwyn locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and California.
Richard T. Smith served for four years as Elwyn’s Senior Director for Information Technology, where he directed the strategic application of corporate information technology. Overseeing a staff of 27 employees since 2006, Smith has been responsible for the integration of enterprise applications, growing core competencies through technology, assuring the effective delivery of IT support and services, and maximizing the dissemination of quality information.
A graduate of Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration, Smith previously served as Manager of Information Technology at International Engineering and Manufacturing in Glenolden, Pa.; Project/Software Development Manager for Integrated Clinical Data in Downingtown, Pa.; Director of Systems Engineering for Covad Communications in Media, Pa.; and as Vice President for Information Services at Fastech in Broomall, Pa.
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Nancy Catania joined Elwyn in November 2000 and progressively advanced in the Finance Department, holding various Director positions and assuming additional administrative duties. She was appointed Chief Financial Officer in October 2012. As such, Nancy is responsible for all financial aspects of Elwyn, including internal and external financial reporting and budgeting. She oversees the corporate functions of Treasury, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Billing. She is also responsible to ensure all areas of financial compliance are achieved and is responsible for the fair presentation of the annual consolidated financial statements.
Nancy holds a B.S. in Finance from Temple University and an M.B.A. from Widener University
