Philadelphia's Largest Glass Mosiac Adorns Elwyn Philadelphia

The facade of Elwyn Phiadelphia at 4040 Market Street is undergoing a transformation.  Passers-by will see a beautiful mural featuring a Behavioral Health Recovery theme, sponsored by the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health in cooperation with the Mural Arts Program.  As part of the mural, artist Eric Okdeh is creating the city's largest glass mosiac, a 40-feet tall sunflower, which is included in the design. The mural spans the entire 53 feet height of the building and covers 3,600 square feet and features strong imagery, vibrant colors and powerful words that all have real-life inspirations.   A dedication ceremony is scheduled for September 12th, but the general public can view this outstanding mural at any time simply by walking or driving down Market Street.
