The appointment of Craig Carter as the Senior Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

This important appointment demonstrates Elwyn’s commitment to pursuing diversity, equity, and inclusion intentionally throughout the organization.

Elwyn has hired Craig Carter as the Senior Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Prior to joining Elwyn, Craig served as the Assistant Director and Interim Director of Penn Spectrum Programs, where he led Penn’s efforts for alumni diversity, equity, and inclusion. In these roles, he managed Penn’s six diverse alumni organizations, advised departmental leadership on DEI-related initiatives and situations, and aided in the DEI audit of Penn’s Development and Alumni Relations Department. 

This important appointment demonstrates Elwyn’s commitment to pursuing diversity, equity, and inclusion intentionally throughout the organization. In this position, Craig will lead the creation and implementation of Elwyn’s DEI strategy and initiatives. Through partnering with the DEI Steering Committee, leaders, and others across Elwyn, he will champion a diverse multicultural workplace where all employees can achieve and contribute to our mutual success.

Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from DePauw University, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and is pursuing a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
