The appointment of David Bowers as Vice President of Corporate Finance

David (Dave) Bowers has been promoted to Elwyn’s executive team as Vice President of Corporate Finance, adding responsibilities to his existing position as Corporate Controller. In this expanded role, Dave will oversee corporate accounting, external financial and tax reporting, treasury and cash management, and purchasing and accounts payable. Dave joined Elwyn in January 2019 as the Corporate Controller and has played a critically important role in improving the accuracy and timeliness of both internal and external financial reporting. Prior to joining Elwyn, Dave was an audit manager in the not-for-profit and healthcare practice at Grant Thornton LLP. Dave has more than ten years of experience working with not-for-profit organizations and has focused most of his career on human service organizations.

Dave received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. Dave is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
