The 5th Annual Elwyn Day

The 5th Annual Elwyn Day was a milestone day and an exceptional achievement, a testament to the combined efforts of our dedicated fundraisers, hardworking staff, and generous sponsors. An impressive $150,000 was raised in support of our mission, surpassing last year's fundraising record of $110,000. The event held on Elwyn's Media campus was a true highlight, with a record-breaking attendance of 600 people. This turnout reflects our community's unwavering commitment and the remarkable synergy behind our achievements. The event for residents, staff, and families offered something for everyone! Outdoor activities included the HB Electric miniature golf course, touch-a-truck with Rocky Run Fire Company, pony rides, and a petting zoo. There were many indoor options to enjoy such as music and dancing with DJ Howard Harding, games, arts and crafts, magic, and lunch from Wawa.

Prizes were awarded to the highest individual fundraiser (Ed Goss of Newtown Square) and team fundraiser (The Children’s Crusaders, an internal Elwyn Team). Read more here: https://www.delcotimes.com/2023/10/17/elwyn-day-moves-inside-but-spirits-and-giving-not-dampened/.
