Program Description
The Judy and Bill Strine Student Transition Center (STC) is a groundbreaking program designed to help students ages 18 – 21 with autism, intellectual disabilities, and related needs transition from school to adulthood. Located on Elwyn’s historic Media, PA campus, the center offers immersive, real-world training that prepares students for meaningful careers, independent living, and confident community connection.

Community-based Work Experience
Hands-on experiences and onsite and community-based learning help students build the confidence and skills they need to thrive.

Students at the STC build real-world reading, math, and work skills so they can navigate daily life more independently and confidently.

Providing students with a real-home setting to practice daily living skills like laundry, food preparation, and organizing.
