Elwyn Expands Day Habilitation Program
in Sewell to Serve More Individuals Across New Jersey 

Elwyn has significantly expanded its Day Habilitation program in Sewell, New Jersey, creating new opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate in meaningful, community-based experiences. 

The expansion increases the program's footprint from approximately 4,000 square feet to more than 10,000 square feet, providing additional space for enhanced programming, dedicated staff, and future growth. 

Most importantly, the expanded location now allows Elwyn to accept external referrals, opening access to adults beyond those currently receiving services through Elwyn’s residential programs. 

“This expansion represents more than additional space—it reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered supports that help individuals build skills, foster connections, and engage more fully in their communities,” said Beth Caracio, Senior Vice President of IDD Services at Elwyn. 

To improve accessibility, transportation services will now be available to non-Elwyn participants who live within the general Sewell service area, making it easier for more individuals and families to access the program. 

The expanded Day Habilitation program reflects Elwyn’s ongoing commitment to growing services that support individuals in leading fulfilling lives while remaining connected to their communities.
