Located on Elwyn’s Media Campus, the Audiology Department includes state-of-the art facilities and equipment that allow our licensed audiologists to provide assessment for individuals with special needs. These skilled professionals conduct complete audiological evaluations and recommend the most appropriate treatment for each individual. Elwyn Audiologists are skilled in testing all populations, including individuals with cognitive or other challenges. Two audiologists are available to test together, if necessary, to put patients at ease and obtain the most reliable results.
Audiology services include:
- Complete audiological evaluations
- Assessment of middle ear function
- Otoacoustic emissions testing
- Electroacoustical analysis of hearing aids
- Selection and fitting of hearing aids using real ear measurement
- Dispensing services:
- Hearing aids, including digital, programmable and conventional analog instruments
- Assistive devices, including FM and infrared systems
- Alerting devices, including flashing doorbells, vibrating alarms, etc.
Elwyn’s audiologists endeavor to help individuals build greater self-sufficiency, optimal hearing, and improved functional communication so that children and adults with hearing loss can achieve their fullest potential, whether at home, at school, or in the workplace.
All audiologists have Master’s degrees and are licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
Located on the first floor of the Yago Building on Elwyn’s Media Campus, the Audiology Department provides state-of-the-art equipment to meet your hearing needs. The Audiometric Suites are acoustically engineered for sound absorption and noise reduction. Audiologic testing and hearing aid fittings are done using the latest technology, such as a diagnostic two-channel audiometer, middle ear analyzer, real ear and hearing aid test system, otoacoustic emission system and video otoscope.
There are three parking spaces identified for Audiology patients. All are conveniently located near the ground floor entrance to the Yago Building.
Who Is Eligible
Call the Audiology Department directly to schedule an appointment. Depending upon your insurance, physician’s orders and/or a referral from your insurance carrier may be requested.

Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF /IID), Medicare, Medical Assistance, Independence Blue Cross/Health Management Organizations (IBC/HMOs), Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Keystone Health Plan East, Tricare, United Mine Workers, Medicare Railroad, National Association of Letter Carriers, Teamster’s Health and Welfare, AmeriHealth, AmeriChoice, Health Partners, Keystone Mercy Health Plan and private pay.
