About Elwyn

Kim Rankin

Quality Assurance Advisor

Kim always knew she wanted to work with children. After receiving her certification in Early Childhood, she worked briefly in childcare programs before starting with Elwyn as an Adult Basic Education Instructor. That was 27 years ago.  Since those early days, she has held a variety of positions but her passion is for her current position as the Quality Assurance Advisor for Early Learning Services (ELS) Philadelphia and Chester. This role provides a unique opportunity to serve children and their families through consultation with the staff who support them. Her primary focus is adherence to and the implementation of all federal and state special education regulations and the development of policy and procedure in collaboration with various ELS departments to achieve this. As Preschool Early Intervention provided by ELS continues to evolve, Kim remains focused on ensuring children and their families receive quality service from each area within the processes implemented by Preschool EI personnel.

  • Be respectful of those you work with. Be true to yourself. Arrive early, do your job to the best of your ability each day. Ask questions if you don’t know the answer or how to do something.
