David Baker

Vice President of Education and Early Learning

David Baker is an accomplished education leader with more than 25 years of experience guiding schools and empowering educators. His career spans roles students and supporting the educators who serve them.

A champion for equity and innovation, David has led system-wide reforms and implemented student-centered strategies that have driven measurable improvements in academic performance, teacher retention, and engagement. His expertise includes developing trauma-informed approaches that meet the needs of learners at every level.

Before joining Elwyn, David successfully developed a broad range of schools in the private sector and promoted inclusive, collaborative school cultures where both students and educators can thrive.

He earned his Master of Education in Educational Administration from Shippensburg University and will have his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree conferred by Arizona State University in 2026.

David lives with his wife, Beth, and their three children, Morgan, Evan, and Dominic.
