David Bowers

David “Dave” Bowers is Elwyn’s Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller. As the Vice President of Finance, Dave oversees corporate accounting, external financial and tax reporting, treasury and cash management, purchasing, and accounts payable. Dave joined Elwyn in January 2019 as the Corporate Controller and has been key to improving the accuracy and timeliness of both internal and external financial reporting. Prior to joining Elwyn, Dave was an audit manager in the not-for-profit and healthcare practice at Grant Thornton LLP. Dave has more than ten years of experience working with not-for-profit organizations and has focused most of his career on human service organizations. Dave received a BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. Dave is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
