
J. Carlos Rodriguez
J. Carlos Rodriguez is the Vice President of People and Culture at Elwyn, a nonprofit organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. In this role, he leads enterprise-wide HR strategy to support and grow Elwyn’s current and future workforce.
A seasoned executive with over 15 years of global HR leadership experience, Carlos brings strategic insight, operational strategy expertise, and a deep commitment to culture and inclusion. He joined Elwyn in August 2024 as Executive Director, HR Business Partner, and has since led key initiatives in talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational transformation.
Carlos previously served as Senior Director of HR Operations at Plug Power and spent nearly a decade at Burberry, where he was Director of Human Resources for the Americas. He also held leadership roles at Starbucks, Comcast Cable, and Allied Specialty Foods, earning a reputation as a collaborative problem solver and thoughtful change agent.
He holds an MBA from Wilmington University, a Certificate in People Analytics from The Wharton School, and is PHR-certified. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Carlos brings a global perspective and inclusive leadership style across teams and projects, and organizational strategy.
