Elwyn Day is a celebration in recognition of a promise we made in 1852: to enrich the quality of life for individuals with diverse challenges. Every decision we make prioritizes the well-being of the individuals we support and the staff who support them. Currently, the safest option remains a virtual gathering. In keeping with the spirit of the event, a series of fun activities are planned for the week of October 5 -- culminating in a virtual celebration and dance party on Saturday, October 10.
Proceeds from this event will enhance the lives of the individuals we support. Examples of past funding include purchasing high-tech equipment for a class at the Davidson School to create their own videos, investing in music and art therapy for our participants, and ensuring that our residents receive a gift during the holiday season. By supporting this event, you will be partnering with us to help each and every individual at Elwyn to live a distinctive and meaningful life.
